Nick Solis is the Founder and President of One80 Realty, a residential brokerage located in the California Bay Area. In 2018 and 2019, Nick served on the Executive Committee and Board of Directors for the National Association of REALTORS (NAR). In California Nick has held numerous leader positions and is currently the Vice Chair of the Political Activities Fund and Board of Directors for the California Association of REALTORS.
I met Nick after reading a very popular article he wrote on Inman about the COVID-19 pandemic. In the article, he articulates how real estate is an indispensable part of the economy and people’s lives, but the services provided by agents might be a matter of want versus need.
We talk about his insights on the pandemic, what he’s doing to remain productive and provide genuine value to his network.
Nick also shares his inspiring story about he survives the 2008 financial crisis while he was new in real estate, and how he’s applying what he learned in that crisis today.
As a previous Director for the National Association of REALTORS, Nick provides some of his insights as to how the real estate industry will change during and after the COVID-19 crisis.
So much incredible value and insights in this episode. Enjoy!
